Environment, Health and Safety Policy Statement

The management of Beirut Electromechanical Services is totallycommitted to the following:

• Seeking & maintaining a safe, healthy and environmentally sound workplace for our employees, sub-contractors, visitors & others that may be affected by our action.
• Developing and promoting a pro-active Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) culture at all its location of projects.

We aim to achieve our EHS Management System by ensuring:

• Sufficient education and training of our employees to allow them to safely perform their tasks including induction to site.
• There is demonstrable commitment to EHS by management and supervisors.
• A process of continual improvement by the management including sub-contractors and other stake holders.
• We shall all as a minimum comply with all the requirements of applicable EHS legislations, customer requirements and the requirements of Beirut Electromechanical Services

For the projects, EHS is a Line Management Responsibility with overall responsibility residing with the Managing Director, Project Managers & Site Managers. In addition, we expect all our employees and sub-contractors to take responsibility of EHS and as such we expect them to:

• Co-0perate fully with supervisors and managers
• Respect and follow all EHS processes and procedures
• Promptly report any near miss incidents or accidents and other potentially unsafe acts or situations.
